Preventative and pre-natal care
Cancer screening
In our practice, an essential part of our work is the early detection of pathological processes in the area of the female genitalia and the mammary gland. Every woman is entitled to a free cancer screening examination once a year. The earlier a cancer is detected, the better the chances of recovery.
We also advise and refer you to other cancer screening examinations, such as colonoscopy or mammography.
Maternity care
Pregnancy is an exciting and unique time in a woman's life. Along with the joy come a multitude of questions and uncertainties.
Our main goal is conscientious and comprehensive prenatal care paired with detailed pregnancy counselling. We want to provide you with the best possible support during this wonderful time and give you, as an expectant mother, a feeling of security for you and your unborn child throughout your pregnancy.
Birth control
In our gynaecological practice, we offer you comprehensive advice and care in all matters relating to contraception. Of course, we also take into account risk factors, previous illnesses, your age and whether other symptoms such as acne, bleeding disorders or the onset of menopausal symptoms should also be treated along with contraception.
We will discuss various contraceptive options such as the pill, contraceptive patches, sticks or rings, temperature methods, condoms or IUDs. We will also advise you on female or male sterilisation surgery.
We take the time to explain the advantages and disadvantages of the various methods and answer your questions so that we can work with you to find the most suitable contraceptive method for you.
Bone health
We advise all women in and after the menopause and women with risk factors for osteoporosis on their bone health. We work with you to develop strategies to strengthen your bones and prevent fractures.
Nutritional medicine
Our diet is one of the key factors that influences our body on a daily basis. A balanced, healthy diet can make a preventative contribution to our own health. Unhealthy or unbalanced eating habits can make you ill in the long term, promote inflammatory processes and lead to obesity.
In our gynaecological practice, we have an additional qualification in nutritional medicine. In our special consultation hours, we will be happy to advise you on how you can maintain and even promote your gynaecological health with the help of nutrition. We not only advise you on the well-known macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins and fats) but also on micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, amino acids and fatty acids) which are significantly involved in your metabolism and whose use can also contribute to more vitality and health. We use special laboratory tests to analyse your deficiencies and initiate micronutrient therapy tailored to the specific needs of your body. We are also happy to support you if you would like to reduce your weight (body fat).
