Psychotherapy/Sex therapy

At our branch in Kiel and our main practice in Heiligenstedten, we offer behavioural therapy and sex therapy for women. We treat anxiety, depression, compulsions, loss of libido, orgasm disorders, sexual insecurities, vaginismus, pain during sexual intercourse, vulvar pain (vulvodynia) and difficulties following traumatic experiences.

Initially, 1-5 introductory sessions of 50 minutes each take place.

Here we take the time to see whether the ‘chemistry’ is right and whether a trusting therapeutic relationship is conceivable. Furthermore, psychological diagnostics are carried out in these meetings and therapy goals are formulated together. Following this, an application is made to your health insurance company to cover the costs and, if approved, we begin the behavioural therapy treatment.

We see psychotherapy as a way of reducing avoidance behaviour, regaining more freedom in your actions and experiences and thus being able to shape your life more freely and happily. The methods we use are classic behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy according to Hayes, sex therapy according to the Hamburg model and trauma therapy psychotherapy methods (EMDR).

It is important to note that we are only allowed to treat women.
